The bike concerned, of course, should need little introduction. It’s a brand new, 0-mile, unregistered example of Kawasaki’s stupendous, supercharged, 300bhp H2R. On the upside, it delivers performance and presence unlike anything else. On the downside, it’s not road legal and, at £39,000, is still a lot of money. But if you thought your chance of snapping one up at a sort of bargain price had gone, think again…

Save £4622 on this Harley-Davidson Street Glide ST

We’ve featured big discounts on Harleys from leading London dealer Warrs before – but rarely savings as big as this, nor on bikes as popular. This one applies to just one, unsold, 2023 model year example of Harley’s class-leading, definitive ‘bagger’, the FLHXST Street Glide ST. The bike concerned is brand new, unregistered and absolutely standard in cool off-white livery and has just had a full £4622 slashed off its usual price of £30,617 which now takes its asking price down to just £25,995. Rarely have brand-new, best-selling Harleys been subject to such substantial discounts!

Get £2435 off this MV Agusta Turismo Veloce

How about this for another brilliant, premium motorcycle from one of the world’s most historic brands – and yet also one currently being offered with a huge dealer discount? This time it applies to legendary Italian marque MV Agusta and also to one of its most practical models – the 800cc, three-cylinder Turismo Veloce sports tourer. It’s the Rosso model and Peterborough dealers Wheels are currently offering it with a full £2435 off its usual list price taking it down to a temptingly affordable £11,495 – that’s about the same price as the far more hum-drum Yamaha Tracer 9.

Save £1165 on Honda’s NT1100

And speaking of ‘humdrum, and finally for this week, how about this for a significant dealer discount on one of the most useful bikes of recent years? Honda’s Africa Twin-derived NT1100 tourer, as introduced last year, may not be the sexiest or speediest of machines, but it’s comfortable, capable, available with Honda’s clever semi-automatic DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) system and has proved very popular. While this discounted example, with £1165 off, is something of a bargain, too. It’s being offered by Yeovil dealer Branson’s in their Big Sale Event, is a DCT version in black fitted with Honda’s ‘Urban Pack’, and that discount takes it price down to just £12,995 from the usual £14,160.

Save £1900 on this Harley-Davidson Road King

As we’ve found before, bid dealer discounts don’t just apply to new bikes – as is the case here. Used bike specialists Superbike Factory regularly offer big discounts on its massive stock of machines and this is a prime example. It’s a virtually as-new Harley-Davidson Road King which is on a ’21-plate and has just 3487 miles under its wheels. As such, it’s in immaculate nick in its gleaming silver livery but best of all, it’s just had its asking price cut by a substantial £1900 taking its ‘ticket down from the previous £16,9896 to now just £15,085 –that’s a saving of almost £10,000 over new. Get £4905 off this MV Agusta Superveloce

Sports bikes don’t get much more eye-catching or exotic than MV Agusta’s exquisite Superveloce 800. Based on the already impressive F3 800 its three-cylinder motor produces a wailing 146bhp, its chassis boasts fully-adjustable suspension, Brembo radial brakes and a single-sided swing arm, while its styling, remodelled from the F3, is a sort of retro-mod take on classic MV sports bikes from the ‘60s and ‘70s. The arrival of Ducati’s all-new V4 Multistrada, so rendering thew previous version obsolete, plus the end of the biking season, means there can be some great deals and discounts to be had on used examples of the old 1260 V-twin – as is the case here. Bikes also often get more heavily discounted when they become discontinued meaning they’re no longer available new and therefore seem like an older, outdated model – as is the case here. Yamaha’s XV950 was always one of the better V-twin factory customs and its performance and abilities, particularly as it’s a laid-back cruiser, are just as relevant today. Better still, this used example at used bike specialists Superbike Factory, being a later 2016 model and having covered just 3429 miles, is one of the best you’ll find anywhere and, having just been reduced by a full £1608 taking its price down from £6391 to now just £4783, complete with free delivery, is something of a steal, too!
